Live Life – Let’s go to Mexico

Live life! We hear that in the movies but what does that mean? Live life !!! Don’t be afraid to enjoy. For me, enjoying life means exploring the world around me. I enjoy explaining nature, archeology, culture, art and architecture. I like the tropical beaches, the beautiful weather, the fantastic cuisine, the good prices, the fantastic music, and a nice atmosphere.

Imagine yourself on a warm beach with your feet in the white sand and a nice breeze. You can be seated at a drinking table. You can see the crystal clear water and the palms. It’s very relaxing. I add a lot to Mexico.

The problem is many people are afraid to go to Mexico. The media has highlighted many of the problems the country has had recently. Everyone knows about “El Chapo” and the drug war at the border and everything there is. And because of this people are afraid to go to Cancun!

I came from Cancun. I rented a car and drove with my whole family and stayed in a condo in Playa Del Carmen. It is very safe. Earlier this year I drove with the family to Rosarito beach. I stayed in a condo with my friends. We went to the nearby towns and bought some. We felt safe. I went to Mexico in February last year with my wife and daughter and my daughter’s friend. We traveled by city bus to museums and famous places and rented a van and drove 4 hours north to a place called Guanajuato. Here’s a cool place – it’s very safe and beautiful!

Don’t take my word for it – I’ve been looking for some statistics on crime rates and want to share them with you.

  • Guanajuato and Cancun have lower crime rates than Tucson Arizona

  • Mexico City has a lower crime rate than Memphis, TN and Saint Louis, MO

  • Tijuana (a border city) has a lower crime rate than San Jose, CA.

  • Mexico the country has a better crime rate than Costa Rica, Egypt, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Malaysia. It is 34 out of 120 countries and the United States is valued at 45.

Mexico is a relatively safe place … just stay away from bad places like us here in the US … right?

Let’s talk about some reasons why I love Mexico. If you love tropical beaches and the Caribbean in general, then you have a few choices …

  • Riviera Maya (Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Cozumel)

  • Jamaica or the Cayman Islands

  • Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Bahamas

  • Virgin Islands

Who is closest to us? Cancun! It’s also the place with the best service, the best food, and it’s safer than all the other places! It is safer than Costa Rica!

Great food:

Raise by hand if you like Mexican food.

If you’ve never been to Mexico, then there’s a good chance you’ve never had authentic Mexican food. Taco Bell doesn’t cut it for me!

Mexico has great food, roast beef, carnitas, fish tacos, salsa, guacamole and fried corn. These are fantastic dishes and guess what – they’re even better in Mexico!

Flying to Mexico can be very economical. It costs more to fly to Florida than to fly to Cancun. It is mostly less expensive than a trip to Europe or Asia. Hotel rooms can be quite expensive, but they are good for what you get. For example in Cancun you can pay between $ 200 and $ 400 per night for a beach resort. But you can get all the incisive offers and if you find it hard enough you can find better deals. I found a 2 bedroom beach condo in Playa Del Carmen for $ 220 per night and can accommodate two families. It’s pretty good. And even food is very reasonable.

Escape from space and I just want to say here …

Don’t listen to the media; do your own research and plan a trip to Mexico. Talk to people who have been here and got travel tips … Then go !!! It is safe, economical and very beautiful. The culture is very rich and the Mexicans are very warm, open-hearted and friendly.

I promise we will really like it!

Live life. Long live Mexico. Way with a god! Goodbye boys.
